I enjoy being part of this community and I want to help out with this community as best as I can. I think I can help this community when in need when things go down hill so they can have someone else they can turn to. When ever I am part of a community that I enjoy being a part of, I will want to help out with them and so they can reach out to me.

I am friends with the members that do chat on the server, I can get along with almost everyone on the server and such. I am also a person who is approchable so if anyone has any questions on the server, I can be one of the options they can come to. I love the community that this server has had and made some great friends, the best thing I can do is help them out when they need help.

Give a man or a women just a little bit of power and they will say and do just about anything. If I was giving the power of admin, I know I am not the all powerful, there are the other people who have more authority then me on the server and I will follow them. I do not make the rules on the server, I just enforce them when the time comes.

Personally, it's the general chat, I get to talk to everyone and meet new people when they join the server. You can get into some interesting conversations with the people there sometimes. Oh and the VC channels as I get to talk to people and hear their voices, it's general chat but just more fun in my opinion.

I feel that there's a strong need for new staff with more diverse locations and time zones to increase the stability and effectiveness of modding in the server. I feel like it's necessary for me to attempt applying for these reasons and to make the chat a better place for everyone.

I think anyone who is a frequenter on the server would be able to at least recognize me. I also have a vast amount of friends and connections in the server that I would deem necessary for someone with the position of moderator. General is definitely my favorite chat on the server. It is the one I frequent the most and the one I find needs the most help in terms of modding. It should be a safe hub for everyone and should be enforced and advertised as such.

General chat though its current state saddens me as i feel like the rules, especially the no NSFW rule is not being correctly enforced.

1) I want to contribute to the feeling of community. Making the best, most engaging experience possible and to allow the space for people to feel involved, regardless of their level of activity.

I don't only want to develop the community aspect, but also to ensure that things are looked over. That the rules are enforced, but are neither an obstacle to the members or a weapon to those moderating.

2) I'd be led to think that I'm rather friendly. I will admit that some conflict has occurred on occasion, however in general, I have a good relationship with people. I'm fairly active and engage in conversation whenever I am present in the server. Even if I don't engage in conversation with anyone, I still have a presence and it is known.

While my presence can be controversial, I don't have any clear conflicts with anyone as I try to be very friendly to everyone. Even in the case where I am engaged in a conflict with someone, I try to be as respectful as possible. I would never attack people on a personal level.

3) Of course. Feedback is key to the development of anything. If I were to make a suggestion, it would be for the good of the community. There's no downside to feedback.

4) General. It's where the most activity is, where the new members are, and where old members return to. It is the central hub for the community. There's almost always something going on in general and the content of discussions as well as the interactions that start there affect the activity of the whole server.

I've been along with this server much longer than any server I have ever found on Discord. The members are friendly, the mods and admins are (99% of the time) active and caring. There are many stuff to do around the server besides chatting. I feel like I can relief all of my stress and (slight) depressions from IRL to here, when I come on and greet my great friendos. :D

I have been almost a year and 4 months and i feel like i know the server very well inside out. I am active almost 24/7 in both the vc's and gen chat, and available almost most of the day so i decided to apply to try to be helpful with maintaining the mood. Also , i think being a staff isnt just kicking or banning someone , but its about the greater good of the server, and working to expand it in multiple ways.

I would like to think i am friendly with most members here and they know me back very well. i have been a long time here and have build a lot of strong bonds with everyone, and i am still trying to make friends with newer people joining everyday.

Of course , as i said before , being staff is more than being a moderator looking at chats , its about the greater good of the server inside and outside the chats. First of all I really like the community because there are so many nations, many different types of human beings combined in one large Group of People. I joined the Server Maybe 1 1/2 years ago and I really enjoyed it. One Special reason why I want to apply as an moderator are the Events. As an Event participant I was part of many Events and I loved every single one of them especially the Karaoke nights. Since the age of 6 I am playing the guitar so for more then 12 years now. I wrote my own Songs and I love to share my Music with other People because why should I Keep it for myself. If People like my Music and are happy then I am so happy by myself. My goal as an moderator would be to Keep up the Events especially the Karaoke nights because yeah.. Music is love, Music is life.

Well I know many People, not the most but that is of School. I am Pretty busy but Pretty active if my spare time allows me so. I am not sure if many People could tell if they heared of me because I am a Pretty quite Person and I am mostly not Talking so much but I will try to Change that. I used to moderate my main Robo server for a friend and though it was removed for complicated reasons I was always there come rain or shine to let newcomers in where others were unavailable, assign their roles, and additionally roleplay with them if I had the time! Additionally I was on the Admin team for Minecraft servers for a year on Xbox which may seem silly at first, but it's the most popular concurrent server with over 500,000 members!

I should be hired because of the reasons stated above but also because I always like to gain such a position first and foremost to be the welcoming hand to a newcomer, ease them in and assist them in any way they needed!

You shouldn't hire me, as the question entails because i'm like the most bubbly motherfucker I know and would explode into a confetti of gay rainbows if you poked me. >c>

I wouldn't necessarily change anything, though I would definitely improve it in any way I can! ranging from contests, user to user interaction and even suggestions that would be further debated on! Defo more emotes though, i can do them.

I am interest in moderating for this community, because I enjoy helping out others throughout the server I am in. Currently I am a active moderator in AFG (Anime Fan Group). I enjoy talking to everyone in the server and friendly to majority of the members active. My 3 month moderation experience taught me many things, from helping out members to keeping the server a safe place from trolls. I have been active and keeping watch on the server when I wake up to time I have to go to bed. Moderation to me is being friendly and to protect further conflict from getting out of hand.

I am usually friendly to all the members I met and have friends that is members in the sever. I will step out of my comfort zone to meet new incoming members.

You could say that, yes. I'm friends with most active members and some of the Staff Members, but then again I define friends the people I interact with the most but I generally don't have a hard time making friends.

I'd have to say, and this will sound very, very "normie", but it has to be General, and the reason for it is simple. General is the channel where everyone can talk with everyone, it's where people meet, it's where people have fun, it's the most active channel (clearly) and I like that, since people can talk with, well, have fun with each other, and can talk about (almost) anything. It's where the action is, and that's why I like it.

I've been a member of this server since August of 2017. I've gone through so much, and this has always been a home I could return to and find people that not only I care about, but care about me in return. I do what I can as a normal member in terms of helping out by providing suggestions as they seem necessary, but I feel as though there is so much more I could do to help were I in a moderator or even just general staff position. I want to help make this server somewhere that people feel like if all else is lost, they can come to the people here for help. That's what communities are for, aren't they?

Yes, I do everything I can to make sure that people know they can come to me for help. There have been moments in the past where someone has bothered me or I've bothered someone, but I let minor problems go instead of holding on to every little thing. It's a server for fun, so we should all get along, or at the very least, try to not let people make us unhappy.

I do my best to make sure that certain concerns are brought up, especially when a good number of users bring it to light. I was even one of the original council members, and getting to talk with the other more vocal members directly to staff was a great honor. It felt as if what I said could help shape the future of the server and help get rid of the more negative aspects of it, and add more positive stuff.

I spend most of my time in both general and bot-commands. However my favorite new channel is definitely the Smash Bros. one. I love being able to talk about one of my favorite game series.

#1. Why do you have an interest in moderating for this community? I know what some of you may be thinking; "who is this person?" To answer your inquiry, the name's Melon -- I used to be an active member back in early 2017 till about September of 2017. I left due to personal real life issues that were keeping me far too occupied to be a contributing member of the server. Now, things are different. I have a stable job and have, surprisingly, a lot more free time on my hands. The server has always held a special place in my heart (Not just because of Sini, I swear) and I would like to --finally-- be able to help out like the server and its members have helped me. I also have five years of forum moderating experience, and two years of discord moderating experience. So do with that information what you will. I like to think I am a relatively laid-back person, but I can switch to stern pretty easy when need be. I treat each person and situation fairly; I don't play favorites. Rule breaking is rule breaking, regardless if I am friends with said rule-breaker or not.

Looks like I'm rambling again, my bad. Anyway, yes, I would love to help out the community to the best of my abilities. Whether that be as a mod or as just a regular member.

TECHNICALLY, Sini is the only person I talk to outside of the server, but I like to think I get along with everyone. I am such an upbeat and friendly person that altercations and drama between me and another person are extremely rare.

Yes. Being a mod on a forum for five years has taught me the importance of teamwork and cooperation. Being clear and concise with your 'co-workers' about your intentions for the server make things go so much smoother.

I wan't to be a mod cause i wan't to share my ideas and maintain the peace of the server and right now i have a lot of time and very active of it. And i am actually have experience to be a mod or an admin because i've served as an mod and an admin for multiple servers and i have my own server too. What is your favorite channel in Life Needs a Little Sin...not judging. :) My favorite channel is general cause most of my Messages spent there and most of the members prefer the general even the new one's cause everyone is there and it's fun , lively and you could meet new friends there and its interesting the way members creating a new topic and having fun. My 2nd one is the Lewd chat room, i know its kinda funny but i really love people talking about those things and sharing about those things that they knew and teased the other members and having fun about those things (so much "things" xD ) And my 3rd and last favorite is the Vc cause i could talk to the people and mostly of them prefer to talk rather than typing and its kinda fun talking to them and knowing them.

I have been a part of The LNALS server for many months now. I wish to see it thrive and become a perfect place where people can meet up and make friends with each other. I've served as a mod for multiple servers in my time, and try my absolute best to make people welcomed and to keep the peace of the server as well. I love this community, and only wish to see it become better and better each day!

I would consider myself a somewhat popular individual. I'm friends with many new and old members on the server, and try to be as active as I can in talking, and/or helping them. I am also friends with most of the regulars, and am always trying to make new ones.

#3. Will you feel empowered to provide ideas/suggestions/concerns to the other staff?

I would love to give my inputs and help the other staff members to the best of my ability. I would also try to be involved and assist other staff members whenever they needed it. I am also rather dedicated and motivated to serve the server and its members with my utmost ability and friendliness.

I'm most often in the general chat, it's a great place to talk to people and meet new ones. I also enjoy my time on the other less crowded channels such as the "Overwatch" and "Rainbow Six Siege" channels.

#1. Why do you have an interest in moderating for this community?

LNaLS has been my top community since I started out in discord. From my last application I was pretty much a newb in discord communities but now I learned to explore different communities and different ways moderators and admins run the place. I have finished out my university work with flying colors and now I can devote more of my time in the server. Also, I have a lot of plans for the server I wish to share like new events and contests to engage the community. I wish to help out in anyway that I can.

I'm basically friends with everyone and talk to everyone in the server. Most of my discord friends are from this server that's why I like to keep the server a warm place for them to stay around and hang. I like to welcome a lot of new members and don't let them feel left out. Making a good impression is key and hopefully they enjoy their stay or better stay longer with us. I am everyone's go to person when it comes to anything and everything after all.

I know the staff continues to develop the server constantly to accomodate the increasing number of members we have. I wouldnlove to be able to help in anyway. Create new ideas and give opinions to other staff to better improve the community. LNaLS is a unique community where anyone could chill and almost everything that the members will need we already have such as various bots, multiple music rooms, game rooms, room for discussion or just simple chat. What I love about the server is how we're able to adjust to the needs of the community. It is a privelege to be part of this team and I would love share my opinions both as a leader and a member of the community.

Still my favorite channels are #music-channel, #member-creations, and this time #general.

First, #music-channel as it allows us to listen to music as well as share songs we love with each other. I personally love this channel (mostly Sing Sing) because I can express myself through making music and we can sing along together.

Second, I love the creations page and saw it grow from a "I bought this" page to a place where people can show their talents and stuff they have been working on. It's a interesting way to meet people beyond what goes on in general.

Lastly, general is where I talk the most, interact and get to know everyone. There's always a surprise on who joins next and that makes everything for interesting.

• I would like to be an Moderator so that I may be another asset to help keep the Discord server clean. I’m a regular on the server that checks every channel frequently throughout the day, and I have a good reputation with the majority of the users. I figured that because of this, it would make sense for me to try and become a moderator, as the only thing I would be incorporating into my time on Discord is the occasional rule enforcement or banning of a troll.

• I feel that I'm friends with most of the people on this discord, I'm very kind and laid back with everyone I chat with. Also, very open and easy to start a positive conversation with.

I love this community and it's members, and I want to help to nurture it. This discord server doesn't just feel like a place to hang out, we support each other, we make jokes together and we're like a family, even if it's sometimes slightly dysfunctional.

It's special, unique and I want to preserve and protect what we have.

I want to welcome every new member as warmly as I was received and I want to include them into our family. To quote another poster here, who put it so well that I cannot put it half as eloquently:

"I want to be apart of the solution, not the issue."

My aim is not to be injected into a position of moderator as a means of personal gain but to be able to assist with lending my thoughts to a support system that strengthens the safety of our community and it's members. It kills me when people joke about Sin being a dying server, because at every chance you look, there's love and nurture.

i am interested in assisting and helping this community grow and prosper in whatever ways I can. I have been an administrator or moderator on many servers before including large ones, i'm very familiar with the ins and outs of moderating servers. over the past 3 months i have been on the server i have been active and would like to put a strong foot forward to assisting the server in becoming better than it already is. I tend to have large amounts time and i feel putting it towards moderation is a good use of that time, spending it on a community i have a passion for. I have strong resolve and am capable of dealing with issues in a non bias manner, i consider these people to be my friends, but the best way to deal with friends is to tell it to them straight and treat them like you'd treat anybody else whether good or bad. I am not against criticism, and if people believe i have made a mistake, i am always willing to re-look at an issue as long as people are willing to talk to me about it, and my mind can be changed. And i always am willing to attempt to help with an issue if people need assistance.

#1. Why do you have an interest in moderating for this community?

My initial interest in moderation is to contribute towards the server by seeing its friendly and warming atmosphere flourish. Why, you ask? Well, I personally feel in awe of the work put in by Sinical, and those involved behind the scenes, and they deserve a server that is well moderated by people who feel passionate about it. Sustaining a controlled environment where everybody can enjoy and feel welcome, is significant towards achieving this goal. I would like current, and future members to experience the comfort I have had the pleasure of receiving, as well as providing it to others, when they too, become a part of this community. Something more I would like to add, is that though I realise my need for the server to prosper, with my current situation at university, I feel that I would be ultimately limited towards what I could do. If anything, my ability to help moderate the chats would be something I will find time for and is something I could feel confident doing.

Over my time on the server, I have come leaps and bounds, and built bonds with members and feel like I fit in quite comfortably with the community. I do my best to help bring a friendly and enjoyable environment to other members, especially to those who are new.

With reference to the point I made in my answer to the first question, falling under the goal of seeing the server flourish is of course to identify issues within it. I recognise building on current systems is just as important as implicating new ones, and will again, confidently suggest and show interest in helping see it through.

Tough question. I would answer #bot-commands, as its ability to connect you with other members is surprising to say the least. Who knew cuddling a random person, then proceeding to fish could seem so satisfying. This channel incorporates both silly and fun interactions, to manifest a social and friendly atmosphere.

I've been along with this server much longer than any server I have ever found on Discord. The members are friendly, the mods and admins are (99% of the time) active and caring. There are many stuff to do around the server besides chatting. I feel like I can relief all of my stress and (slight) depressions from IRL to here, when I come on and greet my great friendos. :D

As a community, I really like this place. I was welcomed and included in conversations as soon as I joined, and there's a friendly, yet humourus atmosphere here. (characteristics a lot of Discord servers are generally not very well known for.) I want to conserve this atmosphere, and make sure every new member is well recieved, as well as do anything I can to further improve the server as a whole :)

Additionally I also like moderating/administrating discord servers, as I generally enjoy challenges and configuration stuff. (be it bots, perms or even just bumping the server)

As far as I'm concerned, yes. As I am new in this server, I have not met all of the members here, but I find myself getting to know new members here every day and I quickly get friendly with them. Yes. I have quite a lot of experience from the past as a moderator/administrator from other platinum servers, and I finally feel like I've found a place where I can settle down. I've been a member since August and saw how the community has grown. Honestly, I am pretty new in discord and don't really hang around in other servers other than Sin's server. LNaLS has been one of the first few servers I joined and I instantly felt at home. The people have been very warm and caring. It is a place where you can be yourself and have meaningful discussions or just random talk. I love how the server has almost everything and how it caters to everyone's interests. I would love to be able to further develop the community and help the members enjoy their stay. If being a mod can give me more opportunities to assist and guide others, I would love to serve that way.

Yes, since my stay I have been friends with a lot of the members and I found this community my home. As time went by a some people left or started to become inactive while new members come along the way. At first I got intimidated by this change but eventually made more friends I would love to keep. I am very thankful that I got to know more about the members. In terms of conflict, I am usually neutral and try to hear out people's side first before taking proper action. I am always willing to listen to others even if it just minor complains or stories they want to tell.

People usually think of moderator role as to manage the community; mute, kick, or ban inappropriate users, delete inappropriate messages as well as to keep the server clean and friendly. To me, being a moderator helps me to gain more experience for my future career, either online, or in real life.

As a moderator, I don’t want to just do what a normal moderator do; I want to approach to the members in a best way that does not make them feel uncomfortable, as to respect everyone and their opinion, make friends with them, and help them with situations that they need help with. I also have some mentor experience that actually help for some people who has problems that cannot share to other people.

I have created and moderated a decent self-owned server for 2 years before transferring owner due to school schedule reason, helped setting up all needs for over 20 servers, and have experience with 10 bots, two of them are well-experienced which are Tatsumaki and Nadeko (Akane).

Generally yes. I am not a close person with anyone in the server, but I like to meet new people, including those who have been in the server before me. I like to have a talk with someone in DM after getting to know them in the general chat to get a better understanding on that person. My relationship to members there is as same as the university mentor: friendly, nice, and always want the best for their student. I like to hear about the issues members have, try to solve them together, and thus improve my own learning experience and relationship.

Of course. Without ideas/suggestions/concerns, how can a community grow better? I do not hesitate to give out my ideas, suggestions, or concerns, because I think it is not a request, but rather be a duty of many moderators. My ideas/suggestions/concerns are not always correct, so I want to listen to other's ideas/suggestions/concerns to correct my incorrect ideas/suggestions/concerns.

I am active in #general, #calm, #bot-commands, #r18-chat-realm, and Music channel voice chats. Sometimes I come to other channels/voice chats to read some messages and write down some comments.

#1. Why do you have an interest in moderating for this community?

My reason for being moderator is my desire to help towards making the server a place for everyone to enjoy. No matter how much time or patience I have to put in, I find comfort here, I want everyone else to feel the same way. As a member I find myself wanting to be part of the solution, and not the issue. Being moderator would help with that, as it would allow me to help keep the environment peaceful, and enforced. I have been mod in two other servers now, my main goal is always to keep everyone safe and happy (when possible, I understand I can't make everyone happy. But I'll try my hardest to find a fair meeting point). As a previous moderator, I have plenty of experience dealing with issues one on one, meaning I am willing to put in as much time as needed to solve an issue. This includes my ability to see an issues from both sides, as I base my opinions on experience and allow all people to be heard.This means my DMs would always be open, even if just for cheering people up when needed. I want to be seen as part of a support system, not just as someone to report issues to. However, when there comes a time for me to rule on an issue, I am very straightforward about my judgement. If someone needs me to explain my reasoning, I am willing to do so with ease.

Yes! I would say I am friends with quite a number of people in the community. Since joining I've made quite a number of friends here, I'd like to see the numbers increase. I genuinely enjoy talking to people, I make a point to be active as best as I can. I tend to be quite active in DMs, but I make sure I talk in general daily. I care for this server and the people in it, even the people I have yet to have a full conversation with. My intent is to be even more active than I currently am to ensure I am a part of the positive in the community.

Indeed, one of my main reasons for applying for moderation is to be able to have a part in discussions. The community is important to me, and I would be grateful to have a chance to be part of making it thrive. I'm very active in staff discussions, whether I am needed or not. It's more about being part of the experience, and being able to understand situations at a later date. If I ever had suggestions I would provide them without hesitance, as if ideas aren't put out there it's a loss. Even if the idea is a dud, it can easily spark some other worthwhile ideas that might turn out to be a success. There are times I get a little too into giving suggestions and advice, it can be my downfall.

I don't exactly have a favorite, it used to be #calm. But, I just tend to chat where ever conversations take me. I am the most active in #general currently. I check all chats, and I try to engage where I can. A lot of times I have accidental conversations in #bot-commands as well. I'm also active in VC, of which I'm going to do my best to be even more active in.

I've been here for what feels like so much longer in just a 3 month time span and that's because all of you, a large community yet so close. From all corners of the world brought together as friends but eventually becoming family. Both loving and hating each other :Megu:. With that aside, I have moderated for servers, and groups in the past as well as moderated for game servers on the 360 and other non-steam games.

Sakura may be gone but they are not forgotten.

Busy days are on sunday-monday, as those are the days I do my vector statics work.

#2 I am on friendly terms with the majority of the active members, and care for the well-being of a good number of them.

#3 I am not someone who has been known to schedule events, I just don't enjoy pushing events onto others. On a different note providing suggestions, ideas and concerns is an important part in maintaining the well-being of a server or business.

Those random conversations you have with a person at 2am about the notions of how quantum physics doesn't work is always the most fun.

How difficult is it for you to find the time in your day to read all of these?

#1. Why do you have an interest in moderating for this community?

I’ve been in this server for roughly two months now and have ended up highly engaged with it in a short amount of time. Due to my current disability leave from work, I have an exorbitant amount of time to spend in front of my PC. I normally use part (or all) of this free time to either be in voice chat or talk in text channels within the server. I’m familiar with hosting events for servers/guilds and within the first few weeks here had a few game giveaways that I’ll likely continue to do from time to time as well as a few other ideas. The underlying reason however, is I enjoy being of service to others and as a moderator you are the first person someone goes to for assistance when they need it.

#2. Are you friends with the members here (generally)?

Yes, I am friends with many of the active members in voice chat in particular as well as other areas of the server.

#3. Will you feel empowered to provide ideas/suggestions/concerns to the other staff?

Advocating for best practice within any social setting, whether its online or in real life, is key to it surviving. Discussing any ongoing issues with fellow staff is imperative if multiple perspectives on a situation are required, so yes, of course I would. As long as there is a structure for open communication between staff members, there should be no real issue.

#4. What is your favorite channel in Life Needs a Little Sin...not judging. :)

Probably voice chat, I like my spoken interactions. Second would be calm chat, plenty of excellent conversations go on in there and its a bit easier to stay on top of than General. That said, I'm active in most all of the channels and frequently post pics in #tasty-food.

I love this server with all my heart and I would love to help out with anything I can to make it even better then it already is. Even though I've only been in this server for 2 months, I can honestly say I have fallen in love with the server and the people in the server because they are just too nice. I've also made some friends that I'd like to talk with for a long time. These people are honestly the biggest part of my life which is weird if you think about it but they're the friends that I never got to have.

#2. Are you friends with the members here (generally)?

I’m friends with most everyone that are active, I’m guilty in the fact I’ve blocked several people because of their toxic or troll tendencies but I try to make friends. The friends I've made however I hope to be friends with them in the long future because they are very nice and I appreciate everything that's happened in this server.

#3. Will you feel empowered to provide ideas/suggestions/concerns to the other staff?

I’d do anything to be honest to be any help to the server, giving suggestions as I see fit and if I genuinely feel it would help the server. Moderator isn't just a position for me to flaunt my powers, but instead a position to be used to make the server a better place and for me to show that I care about the people in the server and do what I can to make them feel welcome and make sure that this is a server that is worth staying. It I feel that something is worth being in this server I would debate to try and get it to happen or just act based on what I feel is the best choice. I don’t feel that creative compared to other people but in the long run I feel I could suggest something to make the server a fun place to stay and a place that’s better for everybody. I also wouldn't ignore useless ideas because, as my Physics teacher loves to say, a useless idea is still helpful because it can bring up amazing ideas from different people, which in turn would actually make that idea not completely useless, but a trigger in bringing up discussion and quality ideas.

#4. What is your favorite channel in Life Needs a Little Sin...not judging. :) General chat, bot commands, calm chat. General chat because this is the chat where I can communicate with the most, calm chat when things get a little too crazy for me and bot-commands to give people rep, the ones I care about.
